01Booking has to be one tap
If a client has to message you to ask about availability, a good share of them will book somewhere that lets them pick a slot straight away. Connect the booking system you already use, Fresha, Booksy, Vagaro or your own, and put the button in the header of every page, not just the contact page.
02Show the work, properly
Your portfolio is your sales pitch. Real photos of real clients, shot in good light, grouped by service: colour, cuts, nails, lashes, bridal. A gallery that loads fast on a phone does more than any paragraph about passion and excellence.
03Be honest about price
"Prices on request" makes people assume the worst. You don't need a full menu, but "from" prices for each main service filter out the wrong clients and reassure the right ones before they book.
04The details clients check
- Exact location with a map, parking and which tower or mall entrance.
- Opening hours, including late evenings and weekends.
- Who your stylists are, with a photo and specialty for each.
- Your cancellation policy, stated kindly and clearly.
Your Instagram gets the follow. Your website gets the booking.
05Look like the salon, not a template
A salon sells an experience. If your website looks like every other salon theme, it says nothing about why someone should cross town for you. The interior, the colours and the mood of the website should feel like walking through your door.
